Dade City, Florida

Come for the day. Make memories that last a lifetime.

Located among the rolling hills of Northeast Pasco County, Florida, Dade City is a delightful blend of old and new, trendy and timeless, rural and cosmopolitan.  Here you can take a camel ride with giraffes, zipline through the forest canopy, take in a goat yoga class, kick back with a custom-crafted Dade City brew, and even go ice skating and sledding in the winter at Florida’s only alpine snow park.

Dade City is home to adventures you won’t find anywhere else.  It’s a world apart from chain restaurants and shopping malls, and instead offers one-of-a-kind restaurants, unique boutiques, and many spirited places to enjoy a drink — all within and surrounding an historic downtown core that is authentically Old Florida.  Come spend a day or two with us.  Chances are very good this charming little town will stay in your heart forever.

Proud Heritage, Promising Future.

Founded in 1884, Dade City is a living, breathing glimpse into Florida’s past.  From the historic Church Street district to the magnificent 1909 court house built in the Classical Revival style, a walk through Dade City is like taking a step back in time.

Art Is Everywhere.

From the heart arts on display throughout the city to its own symphonic orchestra, Dade City offers many cultural pursuits.  Arts In Motion is a springboard for young thespians while local art classes offer everything from sculpting to silk screening.

There’s Lots To Celebrate.

The Kumquat Festival has been held the last Saturday in January since 1997 and is a celebration of the tart little fruit with the quirky name.  In October, Hibiscus Park is the site of the Monarch Festival in honor of Dade City’s Monarch City USA status.
